How does online psychiatry at Reverent Health Psychiatry work?
All sessions are conducted via a secure HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform. You can join from your phone, tablet, or computer, and receive the same quality of care you would in person, just without the commute.
Do you offer therapy or just medication management?
We provide both therapy and medication management. Our medication management approach includes therapeutic dialogue and psychoeducation. Many patients find that this integrative approach meets both their medical and emotional needs.
Who is your ideal patients at Reverent Health Psychiatry?
We cater to individuals from ages 16-69 who are experiencing mental, emotional, or behavioral health conditions and require assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of psychiatric disorders within a holistic, evidence-based framework.
Are you licensed to practice in my state?
Our PMHNP is currently licensed to treat patients in New York and Tennessee. Thus, you can rest assured that your care is compliant with New York mental health service and Tennessee psychiatry service laws, as well as professional standards required in each state.
Can I choose a faith-integrated or spiritual-sensitive approach?
Yes. If you opt for faith-integrated or spiritual-sensitive approach, we tailor your care to incorporate your personal beliefs, values, and spiritual practices. This approach includes all faith backgrounds and is optional.
How do I schedule a mental health appointment?
You can visit our Reverent Health Psychiatry booking page, where you fill a simple patient form and select a convenient appointment date and time.
What happens in the first session?
In your first session, we focus on understanding your story, symptoms, and goals. We review your possible diagnoses, discuss treatment options, and can create an initial care plan. At the end of the session, you can leave with a clear understanding of next steps.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes. While we offer self-pay options, we work with select insurance providers. We currently accept the following Insurance carriers: Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, Carelon Behavioral Health, Cigna, Oscar, Oxford, Quest Behavioral Health, and United Healthcare.
What if I need urgent help?
We offer premium online psychiatric services. However, Reverent Health Psychiatry is not an emergency service. If you are in crisis or need urgent help, please call or text 988 or use the 988lifeline.org chat. For medical emergencies, call 911.
